Tutorial: DIY Tarot Card Bookmark
This simple tutorial will show you how to create a DIY Tarot Card bookmark. You can make a bunch of these handmade bookmarks to give out to friends or sell them at a craft show.
You will need a grommet tool, tassels, and tarot cards of your choice for this DIY bookmark.
Linked below are the supplies I am using for this bookmark tutorial, though you can use whatever you have on hand.
Step 1: Pick Your Card

Pick which card you want to use for your bookmark. I’m using the star card from the Gummy Bear Tarot Deck.
Step 2: Align Grommet Tool & Punch A Hole
Now you will get your grommet tool together to punch a hole in the card. You can just use a regular hole punch, but I like using grommets because they are much more sturdy.

Tip: use a ruler to find the middle of the card and make a little dot with a pen (see below). This will help you with getting the ring centered.

The grommet is set and now your DIY bookmark is ready for a tassel!

Step 3: Fasten With a Tassel
This is the fun part of the handmade bookmark process where you can pick a color-coordinating tassel. I picked a yellow tassel to go with the yellow star.

Done! Now You Have a Tarot Card Bookmark
This cute DIY bookmark is now done! As I mentioned earlier, this is such an easy craft. Make some bookmarks for yourself or gift them to a friend who loves reading and tarot cards.
There are so many tarot decks you could use for this craft. You can also use oracle cards! Browse through Amazon to see what catches your eye or use a deck you have lying around that you don’t use.
This post was all about how to create a tarot card bookmark.
You can make anything into a bookmark, and that’s the fun of it. Postcards, old library cards, tickets, or anything else you have lying around that can fit nicely into a book. The ideas are endless!
