Hey! I’m Amanda, and I call myself The Green Artist. I have a unique background in many different mediums of art, love to write, am a lifelong learner, and am obsessed with sunflowers.
This blog was created in December 2021 and is slowly turning into the blog I have always dreamed of. I have many interests and hobbies which I share on this space of the internet. This blog will be a journal for myself, a space to write about things I love (which is a lot) and a place to share tutorials, recipes, and whatever else is on my mind.
Along with blogging, I sell my art and other pretty goodies on my shop website. I created my business Green Artist Designs in 2016 and it has grown so much over the years.

Before being self-employed, I was a K-12 Art Teacher, and a Senior Marketing Specialist & Graphic Designer. I am also an NYS licensed cosmetologist and makeup artist and worked in salons for many years to support myself through college.
I’m sort of a jack of all creative trades? 🙂
