Today I want to review the Gummy Bear Tarot by Diermar Bittrich. This tarot deck caught my eye after I saw someone using it on TikTok. I mean just look at it, it’s adorable!

The Gummy Bear Tarot is not a new deck as it was published in 2005, but it’s still in print and seems to be one of those decks you must have in your collection.
I love collecting decks and this one is so sweet I had to have it. π
I’ve noticed it’s more of an uncommon deck because when someone sees it they immediately ask where to purchase it. It’s not one you see very often, but it’s still a gem and has been around for years!
This deck is great for anyone, including kids because of its fun and cute imagery.

First Impressions
My first impressions of the deck were it’s ADORABLE. It comes in a colorful tin with cute imagery on the front and sides and is more of a pocket-size deck. The cards are smaller than the average Tarot Deck, more like playing card size. It also comes with a booklet full of basic card explanations and a few ways to use the cards.

They shuffle well and are easy to hold in your hands. I don’t mind a smaller deck, but this of course depends on personal preference.

The cardstock is a suitable thickness, not overly thin or thick, and has held up well through many shuffles.
Imagery
The imagery of the Gummy Bear Tarot closely follows the Rider-Waite artwork but replaces the subjects with gummy bears. It has a more simplistic, and whimsical design than the traditional Rider-Waite Tarot.

This makes it a very easy deck to read and understand. The images are what initially sold me, to begin with!
The back of the cards features a cute gummy bear pattern design. The use of simplistic and bright colors makes it such a fun deck to use.
Overall Thoughts
Overall, this is such a cute deck that I think everyone should have in their collection. It’s a fun-spirited one that’s nice to use when you need a smile.
