Becoming a new mother is a life-changing experience filled with joy, challenges, and an overwhelming rush of emotions.

I started writing this post 13 days postpartum amid this huge life-changing time in my life. Now I’m almost 1 year postpartum and I finally got around to finishing this post. But I have a good excuse for that obviously! 😉

crystals for moms
I love to have crystals in my home. Remember to always place them out of reach of children’s hands.

I’ve written several crystal posts here because I simply love crystals. Whether you believe in them or not, I think they’re beautiful little treasures to have around.

In this blog post, I cover how crystals can enhance your well-being during this incredible new chapter of your life. Let’s get into it!

Crystals For Mothers

Rose Quartz

Rose quartz is a very well-known crystal, and it’s known as the love stone. It’s a great crystal to have by you during this time to help strengthen the bond between you and your baby. Also, during the early days after giving birth, we could all use some warm and loving vibes.

Moonstone

Moonstone is what it sounds like, and is associated with the moon’s cycles. This is a great stone to help you through the cycles of being a mother and to go with the flow.

    Amethyst

Want some restful sleep? Amethyst is great in helping you recharge and get some rest. It’s known as a very calming stone, so having Amethyst around in the early days of being a mom would be very beneficial. I like to keep a cluster on my nightstand. 🙂

    Clear Quartz

Clear quartz is the ultimate crystal. It’s known to help with mental clarity which new moms could definitely need help with! I love having lots of clear quartz around my house.

    Black Tourmaline

As a new mom, it’s important to protect your energy and shield against negativity. Black tourmaline is excellent for that. Carrry a piece with you or place it in areas of your home for protection.

    Aventurine

I think it’s a great idea to have some aventurine around. Aventurine is associated with luck and abundance. As new parents navigating through many different baby stages, some being difficult, we could all use some luck for a good night’s sleep! 🙂

    Special mention: Himalayan Salt Lamps!

I used salt lamps so much in the beginning months of motherhood. It served as a warm ambient light to relax me at night and was a great light to keep on during night feeds and changes. Our lamp was on so much during this first couple of weeks.

They’re nice because they put out enough light to see at night and it’s much better than turning a bright light on, especially in the middle of the night. I highly recommend getting a salt lamp if you don’t have one already! 🙂

    Crystal Support For New Moms

As you navigate the path of motherhood, whether you are a new mom or a mom to multiple children, remember crystals can be valuable tools for you.

Embrace the magic of crystals and enjoy every moment of this special time. You can keep crystals in your pockets, wear crystal jewelry, keep them under your pillow, etc. But always remember to keep them out of reach with little ones around.

Do your research and pick a crystal that calls to you. Whether that be one or several, even if you don’t believe in all the crystal healing hype, you’ll at least have beautiful stones around you to look at!
