Silky crayons. Say what?!

Apparently, these have been viral for a while, and I just tried them out from the TikTok shop.

I had no idea what to expect. They are marketed for kids, but many artists also use them.

Check out this video of me using them for the first time:

The first thought that came to mind when I used these was, “Where were these when I was a kid?” Little me would have LOVED these, because the grown-up version of me loves them a lot. They are very satisfying to use.

Ways to use silky crayons:

Coloring (for adults & kids)

Sketching

Mixed media

Art journaling

& more

These silky crayons live up to their name because they are like drawing with butter. They are so smooth! The colors are vibrant, and they blend surprisingly well!

Silky Crayon Review

The set comes with stickers and a brush. You can blend these with water, and they kind of turn into a watercolor.

Have you tried silky crayons?

Thanks for reading!
