Today is our two year wedding anniversary and I just wanted to share some photos from our magical day.
Two years ago, on the 7th of November in Upstate New York, it was over 70 degrees with a bright blue sky and there wasn’t a cloud in sight. Many questioned why I would ever want to get married in November since NY weather isn’t always guaranteed to be nice. We now look back and laugh as the day couldn’t have been better. This year’s’s anniversary and last was extremely warm too with basically similar weather! We think it’s just a special date.

Getting Ready
We had a great time getting ready at my parents’ house. It was a fun and relaxing morning before the limo came to pick us up for the ceremony.

The Dress
I love sparkles and all things glitter and when I saw the Maggie Sottero Taylor dress, I knew it was the one. This gorgeous wedding ball gown is full of crystals, beads, and has sparkles on the many layered skirt. I truly felt like a magical princess. This dress is hard to capture on camera but it is stunning in person.

The Flowers
I made all the flowers for our wedding day! A few months before the wedding I decided to use wood flowers and created all the bouquets, center pieces, corsages, etc. It was a challenging but fun task and I’m so glad I did it. My flower bouquet now serves as a decor piece in our home and it will last forever!

The Ceremony
The ceremony went great and was at a place that is really special to me.

The Reception
The reception was held at Mike’s grandparents and we had a tent reception. We started to set it up about a week prior of the wedding and it was full of twinkling lights, laughs, and a good time. Thankfully the weather was perfect so nobody got cold!

The Dessert!
We’re not that into regular cake so we had a gorgeous cookie cake made that was more our style. I, of course, made the wood burned cake topper!

Happily Ever After
We have looked back on our special wedding day so many times because as I mentioned, it was perfect. It seems we had angels watching over us that day because nothing could have been better!
