My baby turned one in September. His daddy has always loved dinosaurs and my little guy loved some of his dinosaur books, so we went with the One-A-Saurus birthday party theme.

Even though his party was well over two months ago, I wanted to share some of the items I got to put together his little party. We invited just family, so it was a small gathering and nothing over the top. But I wanted to decorate it nicely!
This theme is pretty easy and it is budget-friendly.
One-A-Saurus Outfit
This outfit is so freaking adorable and everyone loved it.
These little sneakers went with the outfit perfectly!
One-A-Saurus Decor
This decoration pack has basically everything you need. Balloons, highchair decor, a photo milestone banner, a backdrop, and more!

I also got some streamers and additional centerpieces for the tables. A lot of this decor can be used again if he wants to have another dinosaur party someday.

One-A-Saurus Plates
I found these plates and napkins that matched the decor perfectly.
Matching Family Shirts

One of my favorite parts of the whole day, besides seeing my baby so excited, was the matching family t-shirts! They were so much fun and looked great in the family pictures we took.
We got the mama-saurus shirt (for me), the daddy-saurus, grandma-saurus, and grandpa-saurus. There are also options for sisters, brothers, uncles, and more!
Dinosaur-Themed First Birthday Party
First birthday parties are kind of weird because your child can’t really tell you what theme they’d like because they’re still little. I feel like first birthday parties are for the parents, and you can pick a theme you like because future party themes will probably be chosen by your kiddo.
I’d do a One-A-Saurus birthday party again, it’s a really cute theme and there are endless possibilities with it. It’s nice since dinosaurs are pretty popular you can easily find dino decor in most stores like Dollar Tree, Walmart, etc..
I grabbed most things from Amazon and a few items from the Dollar Store.
I hope this post helped or inspired you if you’re planning a One-A-Saurus birthday party. 🙂
Thanks so much for reading!
