Well, I can say September 2023 will be a month to remember for the rest of my life.
September Highlights
To start it off, I became a mom this month! So I’d have to say this trumps everything else. 🙂 It’s been a fun and exhausting journey so far but I’m loving every second of it. I’m also excited to add some mom content to my blog while I navigate self-employment and motherhood.
September Accomplishments
In my August Monthly Recap blog post, I stated one of my September goals was to publish a wood burning class. I initially wanted to publish a class on a course website, but after some research and testing, I decided publishing a tutorial on YouTube/my blog was the best option for now.

New Products
September brought a selection of new products to my shop as I tried to complete as many tasks as I could before giving birth. I created several new fall greeting cards, winter greeting cards, and more.
If you are new here, besides running the Green Artist Blog, I also have an online shop where I sell original artwork, stationery, art prints, and more. My online shop was born many years before my blog, and it’s how I started my business. 🙂
Favorite Purchases
In September I bought a new lamp for my desk. I love this lamp so much and the lighting is so consistent and bright.
I’m always looking for ways to improve my work area and this 100% has helped me see better and work better during the evenings. Plus it’s great lighting for filming content. Before I used a ring light and the lighting was always inconsistent.

October Goals
Though my life is slowing down a bit to enjoy this new period of my life, I really am hoping for some new record stats for my blog this month. I’m continuing to put in the work every week no matter what and really want this year to be the best yet for my business.
Also, I would love some more wholesale orders so more shops can carry my products for the holiday season!

Goodbye September, Hello October! (the best month of the year)
October is my favorite month of all so I love that it’s October. Bring on all the reasons why fall is the best season of the year in this magical and colorful month.
