Another month has gone by in a blink of an eye. That means another month to review!

I started monthly recaps in August and I’m glad I am sticking with them. I looked at my September and August recap posts and I had forgotten what I had even written so it was nice to reflect back. These posts are a way for me to journal while sharing bits of my life to give a behind-the-scenes.
Life Lately
Life is still busy.. lol. The hardest transition for me as a new mom is juggling my work. I know it will get easier but it’s still a very hard transition as someone who is a workaholic and used to working 24/7! I’m trying to cherish the moments as time is already going by fast. There will always be time to work.
What helps me the most is making lists, and this undated weekly planner is a lifesaver when keeping my thoughts together. I highly recommend it!
November Highlights
In November, I painted with coffee! I wrote a blog on how to paint with coffee and it was super fun. One of the cool things about being an artist is you always get to experiment as there are endless possibilities when it comes to creating. 🙂

In other news, several of my wood burning ornaments have been snatched up, just in time for the holiday season! I sell ornaments throughout the year but sales definitely pick up closer to the holiday. It’s nice to see these little creations of mine find homes.
And on a personal note, November marked our 3rd wedding anniversary! It truly feels like yesterday I was planning a wedding and now we have a sweet baby. I feel like I’ve said it a bunch in this post already but life really just flies.

Art I’ve Created
I haven’t been able to create many new pieces, but I’ve been working on some illustrations on my iPad. Check out my work-in-progress abstract landscape digital painting below with the help of a cute little guy.

Things I’m Loving
I don’t have any new art supplies to share at the moment, besides all the favorites that I have listed on my supply list, but as a new parent, I’m learning all the in’s and out’s of baby everything.
This baby playmat has been great for our baby during tummy time, and all the songs are stuck in our heads lol.
It’s a great toy because it grows with your child. So this is definitely something that I’ve been loving lately!
Hello December!

When December hits I always start thinking about my new year goals. So in my December recap post, I will be talking about my ideas and goals for 2024. I love to plan and make goals and the end of the year is always a great time to do that. Time is just flying!
Thanks for reading and see you next month. 🙂
Amanda
