Another month has come and gone. Time really does go by faster with kids. Is that a thing? The days are long but so short. I blink and 2 weeks are gone, but it feels like a lifetime. Anyone else?
Anyways, it’s been interesting juggling my art, business, and now two kids. I had my second baby at the end of May, and along with recovering, adjusting to being a mom with 2 kids, etc, it’s been wild but a lot of fun!
July Overview & Highlights
July has been full of outdoor fun. Between chalk drawing, gardening, and long walks, we’ve been trying to spend as much time outside as possible.
I get so inspired this time of year from all the flowers and color outside. We’ve been making bouquets from all the flowers that grow in our yard!
I started growing zinnias this year, and they are stunning! On my shop website, I sell a lot of real flower stickers. I take a photo and make it into a sticker. I plan on making zinnia stickers as well!
This is the time of year when my camera roll is full of flower and nature pictures to inspire me throughout the cold winter months. 🙂
A highlight of July is that my Instagram page has grown so much, and it’s all from my painted rocks I’ve been making! I started making some food rock art a few months ago and had so much fun I just kept painting rocks. I’ve been using acrylic markers, which I’ve also become obsessed with.
