Okay, so I haven’t written a monthly recap post since March 2025. Oops.
I decided I want to try posting these monthly recaps again because it’s a fun way to reflect on the months, and time just goes by so quickly. It’s like a little journal for me.
My blog is mostly art related stuff but I’m a human and I like to post little snippets of life because my life consists of a lot of other things as well.
January Overview & Highlights
January flew by, as all the months do. We dealt with sickness a few times between my toddler and myself so the first few weeks of the year were pretty rough.
Since I’m currently pregnant, balancing life and work is difficult, and a lot of my work has been semi-neglected. I just don’t have the energy most days to do 500 different tasks. I fulfill my orders, post on TikTok, and create when I feel like it. I’m trying not to stress over it, but it’s hard.
Since most of the stuff I wrote above isn’t really a highlight, ONE of the highlights of the month was having several people reach out to tell me how my blog posts have helped them in their art business. Specifically, posts about selling and printing greeting cards.
Greeting cards are a huge part of my art business, so I’ve written a few posts on my blog here to try to help out others.
I know I get visitors on my blog, but it really feels good when people go out of their way to message me to say how I’ve helped them. Thank you!

Since I’ve sort of neglected my blog the past few months, I’ve been working on updating my supply lists with my current favorite art supplies.

Hello February!
Another month closer to spring. I’m so over winter, so each new month that comes makes me a little bit happier. But where I live, we still have a long time to go lol.
