This post is a review of the Matcha Green Kindle.
I got a Kindle!!
I’ve heard about Kindles and how they can transform your reading life for YEARS. I thought I would never enjoy one because I love how a paperback book feels in my hands. So I was automatically against an e-reader because of that little reason. Silly me!
Recently I saw a new model of the Kindle, which came in a beautiful matcha color. Being a Green Artist, I love the color green, so this Kindle caught my eye. 😉
Matcha Green Kindle Review
I got this Kindle knowing absolutely nothing about Kindles. I had a Kindle Unlimited membership and I used my phone to read. It was starting to hurt my eyes when reading at night and my phone isn’t comfortable to hold in my hands for hours so I wanted to try out the Kindle.
Aesthetic Color & Great Size
The matcha green is perfect. It’s subtle yet eye-catching and makes me excited to pick it up every time. The size of the Kindle is perfect. Easy enough to bring anywhere but larger than my phone so it’s great to read from.
Easy Setup
As I mentioned, I knew nothing about Kindles before owning this one, so I didn’t know what was involved with the setup. Even if you aren’t great with technology, don’t worry, it’s SO simple. You connect it to your Wi-Fi and then link it to your Amazon account. It takes less than 5 minutes.

A+ Reading Experience
The anti-glare screen is amazing. I was pretty amazed at first because it’s weird to think it’s a screen because it doesn’t look like one. The text stays crisp and clear no matter if you’re inside or outside. You can adjust the light, text size, and I think font for the best reading experience. I haven’t experimented much with changes besides the light because I’m fine with how it is currently.

I got the lock screen ad-supported version, which means there are ads on the lock screen (see the picture above.) Since the ads are just on the lock screen and nowhere else, I found it pointless to get the more expensive version without ads.
Freedom To Read
This is where the Kindle truly shines. You can read anywhere and carry thousands of books at your fingertips. I couldn’t believe the battery life could last up to 6 weeks! It all depends on how much you read, but I’ve had my Kindle for two weeks so far and I haven’t had to charge it.
It’s a nice feature because if you’re going on a week trip it’s one less thing to pack if you charge your Kindle before you go.
Since I got the beautiful matcha green Kindle, I wanted to get a clear case so I could see the beautiful color through it. I got the case listed above!
Matcha Green Kindle
If you’ve been on the fence about getting a Kindle, let this be your sign to try one out.
I never thought I would say this, but I enjoy reading on the Kindle more than a paperback book now. It’s just so much easier and more convenient, I’m truly sold on e-readers now and get the hype.
Thanks for reading, and happy reading on your Kindle! 🙂
