June & July 2024 Recap

I totally forgot to do my June 2024 monthly recap so today I’m grouping June and July 2024 together. Because it’s summer and the days all mesh together anyway. 🙂

Highlights

A highlight from these past few months is all the blooming flowers in my yard including my sunflowers! I grow a lot of different sunflowers every year and it’s always an exciting time watching them grow.

Art I’ve Created

I was able to create a few pieces in June and July. Several of these pieces I made helped me get back on track to creating what I love.

As an artist, it’s sometimes easy to lose yourself. Lack of motivation, inspiration, and just feeling blah with creating. Sometimes it just takes creating for fun to get back on track.

I also got back into wood burning. Recently I made a post where I mentioned I didn’t wood burn for almost 10 months. If you want to read more about that, check out this post.

In short, I’m happy wood burning every once in a while, but it’s not my main focus anymore, and that’s okay. 🙂

What’s New

I added some new sunflower stickers to my shop and my collection is slowly growing! These stickers are photographs I took of sunflowers I grew in my yard.

I love the idea of stickers of real flowers because you can enjoy them for years to come.

Hello August!

August is a beautiful month and I’m looking forward to it. It’s also the month where I start decorating for fall… anyone else?!
