Using A Stamp To Sign Art Prints
1. Signing Artwork
This was my first idea when deciding I wanted to use stamps in my business. I had been signing art prints manually, and I was looking for a way to streamline that process but also make my brand identity stand out.
When I started selling my work wholesale on Faire, I wanted a way for customers to see my website on the back of prints and know my business name. So I created a stamp with my logo and website! Now instead of signing my initials, future customers and people who forget who the creator is can see exactly where it came from.
I also use a stamp to sign my wood burning art, you can really use it to sign anything! Plus, you don’t have to sign artwork with a logo, you can get a stamp with your signature!

2. Use On Packaging
As seen in the picture above, I now use an “artwork do not bend” on all my print and card packages that go out! I usually use red “do not bend” stickers, but they are boring, and using a stamp is more fun and makes the package seem more customized.
Other ideas for using custom stamps on packaging are stamps such as:
- thank you for supporting my small business
- happy mail
- logo
- handmade with love
- contact info
- return address
As you can see, the possibilities are endless. Everyone will have different ideas and uses for stamps in their business.
3. Use Your Logo Anywhere
If you get a stamp of your logo, you can literally use it wherever you can think of! Back of products, packaging, thank you cards, marketing materials, price tags, etc!
For my logo stamp, I also have my website underneath it as I want future and potential customers to always know where they can go to shop for my work.
4. Whatever You Can Think Of
There is no limit when you have a custom stamp tailored to your small business. After I got my custom stamps, I was already thinking of new ways to use them and new stamps I want to get!
