In this post, I go over how I ship my vinyl stickers.
Are you wondering how to package your sticker orders? I’ll cover all that below and more.
I currently sell stickers on my own website, Etsy Shop, and I also sell them wholesale!
When I was researching everything about adding vinyl stickers to my business, I was curious how others ship them. Since they are so small and very inexpensive, I was wondering the best way to ship stickers without it costing too much for myself and for the customer.
Everyone definitely has their own way of shipping stickers, but I’ll share exactly what I do in case you’re wondering how to ship vinyl stickers for your business.

Supplies
Here is exactly what consists of each sticker order of mine: the sticker sold, an envelope to ship them in, a thank you card, and a postage stamp!

I ship my stickers in a simple envelope. You can use any envelope, a white one, a special colored one that matches your business colors, etc. I like to use green or kraft brown envelopes.
I also put a thank you card in every order. These cards I use for all orders that go out, regardless of what has sold.
You can get creative with cute packaging, such as stamps on the envelope and cute little mailer cards, it’s whatever works for you and your business. I like to keep it simple but cute. 🙂

Package In A Letter Envelope
While I ship my greeting cards and art prints in a rigid mailer, my stickers are shipped in a letter envelope to cut down on costs.
I currently write the addresses on my envelopes (as I don’t mind doing this), but you can print them on the envelope to save time as well.

Then I drop in my thank you card, the sticker(s), and seal the envelope. Packaging my sticker orders takes less than one minute. 🙂
There have been no problems with stickers not being protected in the envelopes. I like to order my stickers from Sticker Mule because they are waterproof, tearproof, and are basically indestructible. There is no need for excess packaging.
Many people also use little cellophane bags to package their stickers in for inside the envelope, but I don’t personally do this for small sticker orders.
Ship With A Stamp

Though stamps are pricey these days, they still beat the 3-4 dollar shipping when shipping as a first-class package with tracking (now called ground advantage).
You can ship several stickers in an envelope this way, but note that a letter envelope must weigh under 1 oz or you will need to purchase additional postage.

All the products I sell in my shops have a tracking number when shipped, except for my stickers. Though my sticker orders don’t have tracking, I have had no problems with shipping my stickers this way. If an order gets lost, it’s very cheap to resend it (I have never had to do this though!).
After I did lots of research I noticed many sellers who sell stickers also ship with postage stamps. I definitely prefer to have all my orders have a tracking number, it’s just not possible for sticker orders because it would cost way too much.

I like to get whatever pretty stamps the post office has at the time! 🙂
Large Sticker Orders
For larger orders, such as several stickers ordered, or a wholesale order, I don’t ship them in a simple envelope. Larger orders get tracking and different shipping supplies.
If someone ordered an art print, greeting card, and sticker, they would obviously be shipped out altogether in a large rigid mailer. For large wholesale orders, then I’m probably using a box to ship. It all depends!
For my everyday sticker orders, they just get the simple envelope and postage stamp. It keeps things simple, inexpensive, and easy.
