I’ve been selling on Etsy since 2018, but I have been selling stickers on the platform since 2022.
I started selling stickers on Etsy because I noticed they were popular with other sellers. So I decided to take a chance and start selling stickers on Etsy and my website.
Selling stickers on Etsy has brought me many new customers, and as I write this post, I just sold 75 vinyl stickers to one person for a work party!
What’s great about selling stickers is they are easy to ship, small to store, and are fun items to sell. I have a very small home studio and I can store a lot of sticker inventory in my office.

How Popular Are Stickers On Etsy?
Very! Vinyl stickers are some of my most popular items, along with greeting cards. They sell very well on Etsy and people are always looking for new sticker designs! Just search Etsy and you’ll see a vast amount of unique sticker designs.
I’ve been adding new sticker art slowly and started out with just a few designs. It took about a month to start getting sticker sales but as I added more stickers, I started getting more consistent sales.
It really helps to have a unique selection of stickers for sale, as it can create larger orders and bring in more customers.

What Type Of Stickers Sell Best On Etsy?
This question is hard to answer because there are so many best-selling stickers on Etsy. Some of the most popular stickers I’ve noticed are florals, quote stickers, profession stickers, fandom stickers, and just unique stickers you can’t find anywhere.
I sell several different types, but my most popular stickers are of my artwork and floral designs.
Is It Profitable To Sell Stickers?
Yes, if you are mindful of how much it costs to make the stickers and ship them. It may take many sales to make a living off of selling stickers on Etsy, but some people do it!
I sell many different items so my income alone does not depend on selling stickers. It’s always good to branch out to different areas but a sticker business can be profitable.

How Do I Make My Etsy Sticker Business Successful?
There are several things you can do to make your Etsy sticker business more successful. Here are some tips:
Follow Trends: Trends come and go, but stickers are some of the most popular items to catch on to trends on Etsy. Since they are cheap to buy, they do well for new trends. Make sure to follow trends closely and create stickers that relate to what is popular!
Make Nice Stickers: This goes for the sticker design and the quality of the sticker! Ensure your artwork is not blurry and prints nicely. I print my stickers through Sticker Mule because their stickers are high-quality vinyl material, tearproof, waterproof, scratchproof, dishwasher safe, etc!
Take Quality Photos: This advice is for selling any type of item, but better listing photos sell more. Make sure the sticker photo is clear, on a white or non-distracting background, and is true to color. Add a video and multiple photos of the sticker on different surfaces for the customer to get a better idea of how it looks.
Ship Out Orders Quickly: Want returning and more customers? Ship out your orders quickly. Everyone likes to get their items fast, and being a quick shipper will ensure more orders and happy customers.
Are Stickers Oversaturated On Etsy?
Yes and no. There is definitely a lot of competition but there are so many opportunities to stand out. Do not be afraid to create stickers that reflect your style and interests!

Overall, yes stickers sell well on Etsy. This varies on so many different things, but if you are thinking of adding stickers to your Etsy shop I’d say go for it. What do you have to lose?
It was a low investment for me to start selling stickers to my shop, and I’m so glad I did as it’s added many sales, traction, and new customers to my business.
