Love crystals and looking to add crystals to the nursery? Decorating your baby’s nursery is an exciting and meaningful task for any parent. I know as I just was preparing our nursery for our new baby.

As you create a safe and soothing environment for your little one, you might be considering adding some natural elements to enhance the ambiance and promote positive energy in your newborn’s room.

Healing crystals for baby nursery

We have crystals in every room of our house, so putting crystals in our baby’s nursery was a no-brainer! There are so many ways to enjoy the benefits of crystal healing. Crystals can be a beautiful and holistic addition to your baby’s nursery.

In this post, I go over which crystals are best suited for a baby nursery, their potential benefits, and how to incorporate them into the room. Let’s get into it!

Crystal Safety for Babies

This should be common sense, but make sure to place crystals in a baby nursery with caution. Crystals should NEVER be near where a child can grab them, put them in their mouth, or get hurt by them.

Place crystals in high places, out of reach, and away from small hands.

Crystals For Baby Nursery

What kind of crystals are good for babies? There are many healing crystals that can benefit babies and children. I list some popular choices below.

Rose Quartz

Rose Quartz is the “Stone of Love”, and is a very popular stone, for great reasons. Its gentle, nurturing energy is perfect for a baby’s nursery. This crystal promotes love, comfort, and emotional healing. I always recommend placing rose quartz in many areas of your home, and your baby’s nursery is no different!

Amethyst

Amethyst is known for its calming and soothing properties. Placing an Amethyst crystal in the nursery can help create a serene atmosphere, promoting restful sleep and relaxation for both your baby and you.

Amethyst’s soothing energy can be beneficial during late-night feedings or fussy moments!

Clear Quartz

Clear Quartz is often called the “Master Healer” and is an essential crystal if you’re into crystal healing. Quartz amplifies the energy of other crystals and brings clarity to the mind.

Placing Clear Quartz in the nursery can help maintain a pure and positive energy flow while enhancing the effects of other crystals in the room.

Moonstone

Moonstone is associated with new beginnings and is a great crystal choice for a baby’s nursery. This crystal is thought to enhance intuition and promote emotional balance, helping your baby as they navigate their early experiences and emotions.

Selenite

Selenite is known for its purifying and cleansing properties. Placing Selenite in the nursery can help maintain a clean and harmonious environment. It’s great to clear out negative energies.

I like to place selenite above door frames and on window sills. I highly recommend placing selenite in a nursery!

Blue Calcite

Blue calcite is a very soothing and calming stone. Not only will Blue Calcite bring all the positive, soothing, and peaceful vibes to the nursery, but it can also aid in learning.

I like to place Calcite in many areas of my home, and it’s a great stone because it’s easy to find in shops and is very affordable. You usually can get very large pieces for an excellent price!

What Crystal Helps Baby Sleep?

If you’re looking for crystals to place in your baby’s nursery to help them sleep, I highly recommend Amethyst. This stone is believed to help aid in better sleep! Place a piece of Amethyst on a dresser, under the crib, or on a shelf in the nursery.

How To Incorporate Crystals Into The Nursery

There are many ways to add crystals to a nursery, but here are some popular ways:

Crystal Mobile: Hang a crystal mobile to introduce the energy of your chosen crystals into the room.

Shelf Displays: Display crystals on shelves or window sills to create a beautiful and harmonious atmosphere.

Crystal Grids: Create crystal grids under the crib to enhance the room’s energy and balance.

Nightlights: Choose a crystal-shaped nightlight to provide a gentle, soothing glow during nighttime feedings or diaper changes.

Crystal Suncatchers: Hang a crystal suncatcher to create a beautiful ambiance in your baby’s room.

In A Plant: Place crystals in a potted plant to bring energy into the room. This is one of my favorite ways to place healing crystals around the house.

How I Added Crystals Into Our Nursery

In our nursery, I have crystals on the window sill, a selenite stick over the door frame, and a group of crystals I curated to display on a hanging shelf.

Introducing crystals into your baby’s nursery can be a meaningful way to create a serene, loving, and harmonious environment.

I have loved crystals for many years, so adding them to our baby nursery was just a must. Plus, we have crystals in every room of our home, so it just made sense. 🙂

Though I have listed several crystals above to place in the nursery, there are many great crystals out there that can benefit you and your baby in some way.

When selecting crystals, trust your intuition and choose the ones that resonate with you and your baby’s energy. Also, if you are buying new crystals to bring into your home, consider cleansing your crystals to make sure their energy is pure.

Just posted my November 2023 recap on my blog 💚 Just posted my November 2023 recap on my blog 💚🎨 Life looks differently lately but I love it. Finding time to work is difficult but I’m doing it! I mean I was literally FaceTiming my mom on the way back to the OR for my c-section and explaining to her how to fulfill my orders. 😂 So thankful for everything I have and accomplished. I’m still posting on the Green Artist Blog every week but I don’t have tons of time for new art. When I do have time, I have a cute little helper near by. 🩵✨
