This post is my review of the Art Oracles Deck, a 50-card deck featuring many famous artists.
I first discovered this oracle deck when scrolling through Amazon.
Over the past several years, I have grown my oracle deck collection and always try to grab the ones that catch my eye. Oracle cards are a great tool for inspiration, clarity, guidance, and more.
When I saw there was an Oracle Deck that was based on artists, I was immediately sold!

This is a stunning deck and features SO many different artists. It would make an excellent gift for any artist, designer, art historian, professor, or someone who appreciates art.
The card box is a work of art itself with reflective gold details on it.
I was shocked as I flipped through the cards at the various artists featured. There were a few artists I didn’t know or remember from art history class. The average person definitely won’t know all the artists in the deck.
The illustrations are really unique and pleasing to the eye. Each card has little messages on the bottom categorized by life, work, and inspiration. The guidebook is full color and has a little bio of each artist.
And if you are particular about cardstock and shuffling, let me tell you these cards shuffle like a dream! It was so satisfying when shuffling them. The cardstock is a nice quality with a matte finish so they should hold up through many shuffles.
I was also really surprised at the price point. It’s very inexpensive for the quality of everything you get. I’ve bought more expensive decks in the past that weren’t this nice.
This card deck would also make a great tool for the classroom! Maybe pull out a card each class and have a quick chat about the artist on the card and the message behind it? Just an idea!
The messages on the cards are obviously inspired by that artist’s life and works, so I feel these would be a really great tool to dive into each artist.

Overall, I recommend the Art Oracle Deck! It’s unique and a great addition to your collection if you love art and oracle cards.
