In this post, I share all the supplies I use to create my tiny watercolor paintings.

Of course, everyone has their own favorite supplies they use, but I often get questions about what I use, so here are the supplies I use on a day-to-day basis for my tiny paintings.

Tiny Watercolor Art Supply List

  • Watercolor Paint (I mostly use Daniel Smith)
  • Arches Paper (I cut up smaller pieces)
  • Meeden 4×3″ Paper
  • Meeden Detail Brushes
  • White Gel Pens
  • Salt
  • Other Mixed Media Supplies (colored pencils, pastels, etc)

You can find more supplies I use at my favorite watercolor supply list page and my Amazon storefront.

Lately, I’ve been loving the 4×3″ size, so the Meeden pre-cut paper has been great. I’ll soon share the tiny frames I got to put my paintings in. 🙂 I’m loving this tiny painting era.

Remember, you don’t need a lot to get started. Just paint, paper, and a brush! If you are new to watercolors, try not to get overwhelmed by the vast array of available supplies. Start small, see what you like, and go from there.

I try to update the lists as often as possible when I add new supplies to my practice.

Thanks for reading!
