September was a little emotional for me, as my baby turned one.
One year flew by lightning fast. People warn you that time just flies, but you don’t realize how fast it goes until you experience it yourself.
September Highlights
The month was filled with us planning my little guy’s first birthday party, and wondering where the time went.
Other than that September was just another month. There’s always a bittersweet feeling for me at this time of year as the plants start to die off.
I’m sad when the sunflower season ends, but I enjoy watching all the wildlife enjoy the seeds as the heads dry out.
We had a little squirrel friend this year and I spoiled him by putting a bunch of sunflower heads for him to enjoy. He was so much fun to watch.

Hello October!
Yay, happy October! One of my favorite months. This month I’m planning on adding some more fall products to my store (prints, note cards, stickers) and then I’ll be starting to create some winter-inspired art.
Looking forward to the upcoming holidays and changing seasons. To be honest, on January 1st I’ll probably be ready for spring. 😉
